We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have check-straighten/hand forming and Aerospace Experience. Working with minimal supervision, you will form and straighten Metal Aerospace Assemblies that are compliant with drawings, written specifications, customer requirements, etc.
Responsibilities:
Perform check-straighten and hand forming using contour templates, check fixtures, and form blocks.
Operate fabrication machines such as pneumatic CNC brakes and shears and riveting machines
Inspect and verify the accuracy of formed parts using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and efficiency in production processes.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Past experience fabricating Sheet Metal Components; Cutting, Bending, Forming, Drilling, Riveting, etc.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Aerospace manufacturing -5 to 8 years.
Proficiency in using fabrication machines and hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent work ethic and has decent longevity
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Assemble products fabricated of sheet metal using fasteners, bolts and rivets
- Use of rivet guns, impact drivers, pressured air, other power or hand tools
- Pick and Pack kits from warehouse
- Crate finished goods for shipment (nail / staple gun)
