Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate both CNC and manual shear machines to cut sheet metal to specified dimensions.
Read and interpret technical drawings, and work orders.
Measure, inspect, and verify work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
Work with various types and gauges of sheet metal commonly used in commercial equipment fabrication.
Perform regular maintenance on machines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards.
Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC and manual sheet metal shear machines.
Ability to read shop drawings accurately.
Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Inches and Metric
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Physical ability to handle materials and operate machines (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs).
High school diploma or GED; technical training in sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
