Small shop quickly growing looking to add a qualified person for Inspection Dept.
Job summary:
Independently inspect parts to work instructions, blue prints, specifications, and customer data.
Required duties and responsibilities:
Operate inspection equipment as required.
Follow instructions on work orders and planning.
Inspect parts per work instructions/Customer drawing requirements without assistance.
Verify customer, supplier and in-house certifications, specifications and documentation for traceability information, part number, revisions, processing, material, and design criteria.
Maintain records and provide reports as needed
Perform FAI inspections as needed
Required skills:
Blue Print Reading
5+ years Inspection Experience
GD&T Knowledge
Use of basic Inspection Equipment(e.g. caliper, mic, indicators)
Ability to perform complex inspection with minimal help or direction
CMM experience required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Attention to detail
Deburr experience a plus!
