Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
This is a full-time on-site role in Bellflower, CA for an Accounts Receivable Manager at Trans Petro of California DBA C & C Transportation. The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for the billing and collections including managing and overseeing customer account balances, ensuring timely receipts, handling billing discrepancies, and working with clients to resolve collection matters. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Manager will work closely with other departments and contribute to improving financial operations and processes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and billing
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Experience working with the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
Experience with accounting software (preferably Quickbooks) is a plus
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and analysis
