RCCI dba Ramirez Company, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Certified Payroll/Labor Compliance Associate to work in-person at our office. The role primarily entails the meticulous upkeep of certified payroll records and labor compliance documents. In addition, the role involves the collection and reporting of all certified payroll information and offering support for various labor compliance functions when required. Exceptional communication skills and a professional and friendly demeanor are crucial for this position, as it necessitates effective interaction with team members and others. Additional duties would include assisting the department manager with various tasks and support as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Locate labor compliance and certified payroll requirements per the contract
Set up projects with all requirements as needed
General knowledge of contracts and labor compliance
Maintain company labor compliance log with daily updates
Maintain and review certified payroll records and other labor compliance documents as required
Able to analyze and locate payroll errors and notify need of correction
Monitor labor compliance emails and identify urgent issues
Familiar with Department of Industrial Relations process with ability to locate necessary information, including DIR certified payroll reporting
Ability to verify how prevailing wage is determined per the Department of Industrial Relations
Assist with overall needs of the labor compliance department
Send out DAS 140's per craft
Oversee sub-contractor compliance documentations and CPR'S
Assist the department manager with various tasks as needed
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
8 Years experience in prevailing wage certiied payroll and Labor Compliance
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word, DIR & LCP Tracker preferred. Certificates and Licenses: No certifications required.
