The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our wholesale operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of orders to our clients. You will be a key player in maintaining a smooth workflow, optimizing processes, and driving overall operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Manage inventory levels, forecasting demand and ensuring stock availability to meet customer needs.
Oversee the order fulfillment process, including order picking, packing, and shipping.
Implement and maintain efficient warehouse operations, optimizing space utilization and workflow.
Manage relationships with shipping carriers, negotiating rates and ensuring timely deliveries.
Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports to track performance metrics.
Liaise with sales and customer service teams to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Manage the budget for the operations department.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fashion wholesale operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the fashion industry.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Excellent communication, written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Spreadsheet, Gmail). Warehouse management software (WMS) and/or customer relations management (CRM) required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
