Personal Assistant / Social Companion for a High-Functioning Young Adult with Asperger’s
We’re looking for a kind, upbeat, and engaging Personal Assistant to help a young adult with Asperger’s build confidence and enjoy meaningful social experiences in the community.
The ideal person is someone who’s genuinely fun, patient, and enjoys helping others connect, grow, and thrive in everyday settings — whether that means going out for coffee, trying new activities, or navigating social situations with gentle guidance and support.
What You’ll Do:
Provide friendly companionship and conversation
Support social outings and community engagement
Encourage independence and confidence in real-world settings
Offer subtle coaching in communication and social interaction when appropriate
Who You Are:
Energetic, empathetic, and reliable
Enjoys helping others build social and life skills
Background or studies in psychology, behavioral science, or related field preferred
Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working in the community
Schedule: Flexible hours — part-time (around 10–20 hours per week)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
