Customer Support/Project management may require shifts in reporting time between the hours of 7am - 6pm.
The role and responsibilities will incorporate collections/accounts receivable tasks through direct communications and customer relation management systems indirectly
Ability to navigate a software interface effectively is a critical component
Ability to work in fast paced customer response environment is essential to the job
Prior solar experience is a plus, but not necessary
Navigation and experience with scheduling software is a plus
Proficient understanding and experience with Microsoft worksheets is essential
Be able to effectively and succinctly communicate with customers and subcontractors
Responsible for insuring 100% customer satisfaction on the assigned project
Responsible for managing budget and schedule goals of the assigned project, from project inception through project closeout
Performs risk-analysis /forecasting for projects in order to minimize negative impact on company
Leverages knowledge of system delivery milestones to capture reduced costs wherever possible
Responsible for effective oversight, negotiations, and management of multiple subcontractors.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project Preferred requirements
OSHA 10 Certification
Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations
Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills based on industry experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
Organizational skills needed to manage time, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
General Contractors license is a plus
Summary of Role:
This position is responsible for the direct management, tracking, oversight, and on-schedule, on-budget delivery of multiple concurrent residential PV projects to ensure 100% internal and external customer satisfaction. This position maintains liaison with customers and subcontractors, and monitors construction and financial activities by advising and providing visibility to the ROM and direction to the Site Surveyors, Project Engineers, Supply Chain, Electricians and Installation personnel.
