Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and motivated professional to join our beautiful 174-unit apartment community in Lake Balboa as an Assistant Property Manager. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, and enhancing the overall living experience within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing and Sales: Show available units, conduct open houses, and assist with leasing activities. Prepare and execute leases and handle rent collection.

Resident Relations: Provide exemplary customer service by promptly attending to resident requests, addressing complaints, and resolving issues. Serve notices and renewals.

Property Management: Schedule move-ins and move-outs, coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff, and ensure the general cleanliness of common areas.

Operational Support: Assist in all aspects of daily property operations, including enforcing policies and procedures. Schedule all vacant unit turnovers to ensure timely completion.

Communication: Maintain excellent communication with residents, vendors, and the property management team to enhance the resident experience.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of one year in property management. Proven track record in leasing and closing deals.

Skills: Strong organizational, self-motivation, and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Craigslist ads and Yardi is a plus.

Professionalism: Must present a professional appearance and maintain a positive attitude. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is preferred.

Additional Requirements: Good credit history and a sense of humor.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $16.78 - $17.50 per hour
