Job Summary:
The Property Manager will serve as the primary liaison between tenants, maintenance teams, and third-party service providers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solution-oriented, and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, including tenant interactions, property maintenance and turnover procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance requests, complaints, and damage reports. Respond to tenant inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and coordinate maintenance workers for necessary repairs and upkeep. Ensure proper access and keys are provided to maintenance teams for efficient service delivery.
Leasing Support: List available residential units for lease, prepare marketing materials, and coordinate property showings. Manage tenant walkthroughs for prospective residents.
Unit Turnover Management: Coordinate the preparation of units for new tenants, including scheduling cleaning, repairs, and security deposit assessments. Ensure units are ready for occupancy in a timely manner.
Move-In/Move-Out Coordination: Oversee the key hand-off process to new tenants. Provide clear move-in/move-out instructions, conduct walkthroughs, and ensure units are properly inspected.
Development Coordination: Schedule and manage access to properties for development walkthroughs.
Utility Setup: Manage the setup of utilities (e.g., wifi, water, electricity) for new spaces and ensure smooth transitions for new tenants.
Required Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive tenant issues professionally.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of maintenance processes.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, service providers, and tenants.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple properties and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
