We are looking for an experienced and brand-focused Smoke Shop Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collab between a new smoke shop and cannabis delivery company.
As a manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving sales growth. You will play a key role in sourcing initial inventory for the shop.
=Key Responsibilities:=
Manage and oversee the smoke shop, including cashiering (though this will be a small part of the job)
Source, stock, and manage inventory for a wide variety of products and brands
Ensure the smoke shop is brand-focused and represents a diverse range of products
Create and manage budgets, make purchasing decisions, and maintain inventory within budgetary constraints.
Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
Drive sales goals and ensure personal and team targets are met consistently.
Mentor and lead staff to achieve their individual sales goals.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
Collaborate with the cannabis delivery company on occasional tasks
Other tasks as needed
=Required Qualifications:=
- At least 1 year experience as a Smoke Shop Manager
- Intimate product knowledge of smoke shop items, including Brands, Products, Prices and Features
- Experience with stocking, inventory, buying, and managing budgets
- Proven experience in meeting personal and team sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
- Ability to work at Mission Hills and occasionally Culver City location
=Preferred Qualifications:=
- Cannabis product knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with Excel
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) creation
