GSSi, Inc., a 4th generation family-owned security company headquartered in Wilmington CA is seeking a part-time armed officer for a winery in Lincoln Heights.
Basic Duties:
1. Maintain presence/observation/surveillance of key areas
2. Complete daily report of activity and observations
3. Detex Patrols
4. Enforce client policies
5. Access control
6. Respond to calls for service
7. Deter criminal activity
Pay Rate: $21.50 with $.50 cent per hour firearm maintenance allowance = $22.00 per hr combined pay.
Full-time schedule: Wednesday through Sunday 1030am-7pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch. Total of 40 hours per week
Part-time schedule: Monday/Tuesday, 1030am-7pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch. Total of 16 hours per week.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Valid BSIS guard card and firearm permit
2. Ability to work weekends, holidays, OT
3. Reliable transportation to and from the job site
4. Ability to walk, stand, sit for extended periods
5. Good customer service skills
6. Good written/verbal communication skills
7. Must own your own firearm (.38, 9mm, .40, .45, ammunition provided)
8. Must have 1 year experience as an armed officer.
9. Baton/OC permit optional
GSSi will provide uniforms, and duty gear as needed.
