Nationwide Guard Services is having a Job Fair on Friday, November 22, 2024 at our office in Commerce; 5900 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 148, Commerce CA 90040 (enterance located by Starbucks) from 9am to 12pm. Dress professionally.

We are looking for a Full Time Supervisor - Swing Shift (4pm to 12am).

Experience as a Security Field Supervisor is required. Truckyard experience is required.

Clean Driving Record is also required. Guard card and certificates required.

Schedule: Swing shift and open on the Weekends

Pay Scale: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Proof of current/valid California Driver License and clean driving record required.

Must have knowledge of different operations (Warehouses, Truckyards, Commercial Buildings and Retail) in order to conduct Post Checks or Hold Post.

Field Supervisor minimum requirements:

Demonstrates leadership skills

Consistently motivated

Reliable

Flexible schedule (swing and night shifts availability required)

Possess a valid California driver license and clean driving record

Enthused to counsel, train, and encourage others

Maintain a positive attitude through challenging situations

Communicate/document thoroughly, efficiently, professionally

Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs

Willingness to adapt to changing procedures and work environments

Deal with individuals cautiously and professionally

Follow instructions

Deal tactfully/diplomatically with clients, NGS management, and co-workers.

Adhere to and enforce policies and procedures

Take the initiative

Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property as necessary

Obtain help by calling law enforcement

Prevent losses and damages by reporting abnormalities and suspicious activity

Inform violators of policies/procedures correct policies/procedures, and consequences [law enforcement] should they fail to comply

Report disturbances, and trespassers to law enforcement

Complete reports by documenting observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses when necessary

Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
