Unarmed Security Officer
The guard will be responsible for touring the apartment complex and document your findings on a smart phone. Guard will need to check hallways, stairways, community room, attached parking garage and front entrance. Guard will be required to take direction from the property manager and at times remove loiters and trespassers.
Duties:
-Ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent loss and protect assets
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Experience:
- Previous experience in security or related field preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- High level of integrity and professionalism
