1099 Contractor | Base Salary + Commission
ATP Development & Construction is a full-service general contractor specializing in residential, apartment, Commercial and ADU projects in the city of LA. As our lead volume continues to grow, we’re expanding our team to improve our response time and client experience.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated Sales Representative / Call Vetting Specialist to manage and qualify inbound calls and online leads. This role will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, filtering inquiries, scheduling consultations, and maintaining accurate lead information in our CRM system (Salesforce).
The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced construction environment. Experience in construction sales, home services, or customer service is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
● Answer and screen inbound calls, texts, and form submissions from potential clients.
● Qualify leads using ATP’s defined criteria before forwarding to management or field estimators.
● Schedule consultations, follow-up calls, or appointments through Salesforce CRM. ● Maintain accurate records of calls, lead status, and follow-up actions.
● Communicate professionally and consistently with prospective clients via phone, text, and email.
● Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to improve response times and lead conversion rates.
● Provide feedback on lead quality and assist in identifying recurring issues (spam, wrong numbers, etc.).
Requirements:
● Previous experience in sales, call center, customer service, or construction
administration preferred.
● Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
● Comfort using CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and Google Workspace tools. ● Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
● Reliable internet and phone connection
Compensation:
● Base Pay: Competitive hourly or monthly base depending on experience.
● Commission: Earn additional commission per closed project.
● Structure: 1099 Contractor (independent).
Work Schedule:
● Flexible hours — typically during business hours (9 am–5 pm PST).
