Sales Associate, Event Rental Company: San Fernando Valley

Salary Range: $40,000 - $75,000 DOE
Seeking a creative, outgoing, self-motivated person with sales and leadership ability. The INDIVIDUAL MUST HAVE EVENT RENTAL EXPERIENCE IN THE RENTAL INDUSTRY, computer, and organizational skills. Must work well with others and have excellent communication skills and pay close attention to detail.
Specific Duties may include:
Determining customer’s needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
Answering telephones and entering sales orders
Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
Coordinating customer pickups with the warehouse
Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
Addressing and resolving service concerns should they arise
Qualifications include:
Previous event planning experience and/or experience working at an event rental company
Knowledge of event rentals a MUST
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and prioritization
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude and team player
Detail and service oriented
