EngAGE Inc. is the contracted service provider at multiple independent living older adult communities, and family sites across CA. We provide a full calendar of comprehensive programming to residents of these communities.
EngAGE is looking for an enthusiastic ZUMBA instructor willing to lead a group of active older adults. For this role, we welcome certified professionals.
Responsibilities
-Lead weekly or bi-weekly sessions
-Accommodate participants with various levels of mobility and flexibility
- Submit class report to Program Director once a month
Initial Impact
Provide older adults with an opportunity to increase their physical activity
Outcomes
Participants learn techniques to decrease stress, and increase balance, mobility, flexibility
Improve overall mental and physical health
Training
In person meeting in on-site Clubhouse prior to classes
Support
EngAGE staff and on-site staff
Commitment
Completion of contracted class schedule (contracts are flexible)
Estimated participation- 1-8 students
Amount of Time
1-hr / weekly or biweekly per site / TBD
Time of Day
M-F /morning - early evening
Possible weekend classes upon discussion

Qualifications
Professionally certified by an accredited program and 1 year experience. Must be comfortable teaching active older adults. Clear LiveScan screening (FBI/DOJ) prior to service.
