As a Scale Technician, you will install, calibrate, and repair various scales and weighing systems. From bench scales to truck scales. You will ensure the accuracy of the instruments that businesses rely on to operate daily. Documenting calibration and repair actions by completing inspection checklists and forms timely and accurately. Produce excellent service while interacting with customers and teammates. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required. 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, industrial, electrical, or similar fields is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and work well with others including teammates, sales managers, and customers to get the job done safely and accurately the first time. Clean driving record and ability to obtain and maintain a valid CDL. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A certificate or 2-year degree in a technical field is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work beyond the typical Monday- Friday schedule for eight hours. Sometimes staying a little late to finish a job or occasionally being called for assistance on a weekend is required since our scales are critical for businesses to operate. Self-motivation is required because the role of a trained technician can be highly independent and flexible.
