The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of basic to large scale audio visual systems in a corporate environment. This position reports to the Supervisor of Audio Visual & Global Broadcasting as well as the on-site Senior Audio Visual Coordinator. This position will be called in for AV support on an as-needed basis depending on departmental needs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
⢠Provides onsite AV support for conference rooms & event spaces.
⢠Ensures events are executed through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audio visual equipment.
⢠Supports AV maintenance projects and installations as directed.
⢠Supports video conferences and skype calls as needed.
⢠Responds to support requests via email or phone.
⢠Strives to exceed expectations and stays up to date on current AV technology.
⢠Maintains a positive relationship with internal clients through effective communication.
⢠Implements AV solutions through best practices and SOPâs.
Required Experience:
Job Qualifications:
⢠Knowledge of current audio-visual technology standards and best practices.
⢠3-5 years of audio visual systems support and management.
⢠Experience working with Polycom Group Series VCâs, Production Switchers, PTZ Cameraâs, Audio Mixers, Wireless Microphones, Projection Systems, & Show Control.
⢠Experience working with Playback Pro, MS PowerPoint, WebEx, & Skype.
⢠Video production, editing, and encoding software skills are a plus.
⢠Knowledge of video streaming technology a plus.
⢠Experience with basic networking and PC hardware.
⢠Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
⢠Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and overtime based on project needs.
