Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for YouTube.
Apply relevant transitions, effects, music, and sound design to enhance the final product.
Maintain a consistent style and tone that aligns with the brand and content.
Handle trimming, color correction, audio leveling, and any necessary enhancements.
Ensure the video is optimized for YouTube, with proper aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with video editing software.
Understanding of YouTube video trends, best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
Ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
A keen eye for detail and an ability to create professional, engaging videos.
Experience with YouTube-specific aspects like adding captions, thumbnails, and optimizing metadata (descriptions, titles, tags) is a plus.
Creativity in storytelling and editing with a solid understanding of pacing and tone.
Ideal Candidate:
Someone who has experience editing videos for YouTube creators and understands what works for building a channel.
Has a portfolio or examples of previous YouTube videos they've edited.
Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and optimizing video for YouTube's algorithm is highly valued.
Able to follow directions but also bring your own creative input to enhance videos.
Comfortable with constructive feedback and collaborative work.
Job Details:
Type: Remote, Part-Time / Freelance.
Rate: Competitive and based on experience (please include your rates or hourly wage expectations).
Workload: Flexible, but ideally 1 video per week (with room for more as the channel grows).
