My name is Tim I am the owner/operator of 25 Airbnb/short term rental properties which are all located up the 101 corridor. 8 in Studio City/Hollywood Hills and the rest are between Canoga Park and Sherman Oaks. I am expanding the portfolio of properties and need a local maintenance/field manager who can assist with the business and grow with us. You will be responsible for checking up on the properties between guests and assisting with any guest issues that arise during their stay which should be minimal if properties are checked up on and issues taken care of.

This will start as a 'trial run' for the management position for me to get to know you and understand your capabilities in the field. It may just be you as the "jack of all trades" maintenance/field manager, or evolve to more.

Requirements:

English- Native speaker or fluent, and be able to read and write in English also as instructions will be in English.

Some tech ability as we use tools to make everything easier which includes an app (Called Breezeway) where your tasks will be delegated and you will need to use the app to know what to do, take photos of work done, etc. In addition, we communicate mostly using, Slack, which is a great messaging tool for teams. Its simple to use like any other messaging such as WhatsApp, FB messenger, etc. If you are not tech savvy at all, it probably will not work for you. Also, all the properties have some smart products such as Thermostats, Blink cameras, etc which need attention and things done from time to time.

Organized- I am in the hospitality industry and guests expect service and things to be right. If something needs attention, we need to get on it quickly and you have to be a well organized person because a day may look like this: People arriving at 4PM to a property and you need to go before they arrive to replace a couple lightbulbs, touch up paint the hallway and see why the TV isn't working properly.

A car/truck (truck preferred) and your own tools is a bonus, but not mandatory. There is a decent amount of driving since you will be going to different properties so your vehicle does need to be reliable.

Pay during this trial run period will be $25/hour (if very qualified I would consider more) and I can give you anywhere between 20-40/ hours a week. This job could just be as a reliable "handyman" doing a variety of tasks, or more as a true "Manager" of the houses.

Majority of the job is during regular business hours, but sometimes in an emergency there will be some after hours stuff (not middle of the night, but maybe 7 or 8PM or something on the weekend)
