Job Description:
We are seeking talented and experienced Automotive Painters to join our team. As an Automotive Painter at Automed Collision, you will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to our high-quality standards. Your role will include surface preparation, color matching, applying paint, and ensuring a flawless finish. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve a perfect match.
Apply paint coats using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish.
Inspect painted surfaces for defects and imperfections, and perform touch-ups as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automotive Painter in a professional setting.
Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques, tools, and materials.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for color and finish.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive painting is a plus.
Compensation:
Pay:
$30 to $35 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
