Our client, an Acton based Construction company, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide overall management and construction projects from bid preparation through final acceptance by clients. Possible hybrid remote schedule depending on project status and other projects in the pipeline.
Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm OR 7:00am-4:00pm
$100,000-$160,000/year + Benefits
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and coordinate full estimating services on all types of contracts.
Accurately budget and financially forecast for cost-to-complete.
Navigating regulatory requirements and the permitting process.
Generate and maintain detailed project schedules.
Manage the material procurement process.
Review and understand contracts and subcontracts terms and conditions.
Analyze plans and specifications.
Prepare and accurately maintain project documentation and records, including RFI’s, logs, job reports, submittals, change order requests, etc.
Monitor job performance for adherence to schedules, contract terms, and safety procedures.
Organize and facilitate project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Consistently meet or exceed deadlines required for each project.
Manage several complex issues or problems simultaneously.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in general construction
Experience reading plans, identifying change orders, preparing RFI's, change orders, construction schedules and submittals
Ability to travel to project/construction sites
Estimating experience a plus!
