About me: I own and self manage a handful of homes and duplexes between Silverlake and El Sereno that I have renovated/ built and leased up over the years. I have a full time job in project management and simply don't have enough hours in my day anymore to properly take care of my rental properties and all the requests that come up.
I'm looking for someone who is available for a full day each week to handle various property repairs with a sense of pride and accountability in their work. This person should be able to communicate effectively with myself and the tenants.
Core duties:
- Troubleshoot and perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, painting, and minor carpentry.
If something is beyond your expertise, I have a vendor list you may coordinate with to get the repair done
- Preventative and routine maintenance on a rolling basis
- Turn over units for the next tenant 4/5 times a year or overseeing vendors to complete turnovers
Other Duties (If wanting to pickup extra hours on other days):
- Showing homes/ units to prospective tenants
- Personal home maintenance/projects
- Some project management help of homes being built
Schedule/ Pay:
- $30/hour
- 1 full day each week (8 hours), same day every week - you choose the day.
Requirements:
- Driver's license/ car or truck in good working condition
- Ability to use Google Drive or similar to track tasks
- Need to pass a full background check
- Ability to demonstrate you are serious about this being long term for you
