Job Description:
As a Night Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing pest control services during evening and nighttime hours to residential and commercial properties. You will work independently and with a team to perform essential pest management duties, ensuring the highest quality service while maintaining the safety of both customers and yourself. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols, apply treatments as needed, and document your work thoroughly.
Key Responsibilities:
Pest Control Treatments: Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively during nighttime hours to control pests including insects, rodents, and other common pests.
Inspection: Conduct thorough property inspections to identify signs of pest infestations, entry points, and potential risks.
Customer Service: Provide clear communication with customers regarding services performed and any necessary follow-up actions or recommendations for pest prevention.
Service Documentation: Accurately complete service reports and document pest activity, treatments applied, and customer feedback after each visit.
Routine Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and maintain service equipment, ensuring it is ready for use and in good working condition.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when applying chemicals and performing pest control tasks. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and management to ensure service schedules and customer expectations are met.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous pest control experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Pest Control License: A valid pest control license is required.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain pest control methods and safety measures to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Independent Worker: Ability to work unsupervised and effectively manage time, particularly during nighttime hours.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and address pest issues promptly.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various environments and physically demanding conditions (e.g., climbing, bending, lifting).
Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
