Highly skilled Carpenter / "Jack of all trades"
About the job:
We are a high-end, custom home builder working primarily in the West Los Angeles area. We are looking for a highly skilled carpenter, "Jack of all trades" person for immediate employment. Additional skills, knowledge, and experience – i.e. plumbing, electrical, drywall, welding, etc. This is a full-time position. We have ZERO tolerance for unreliability. If you are hired, we will immediately begin to assess your skills, knowledge, experience, and attitude. We will decide after a two week (or less) probation period whether you will be the right fit for our company. This is an AT WILL job offer.
Requirements:
1. Must be detail oriented and able to produce the highest quality work.
2. Must have safety conscious work habits.
3. Must have a presentable appearance, a professional can-do attitude, and good communication skills. Must always be polite. You will be interfacing with co-workers, subcontractors, project managers, clients, and Architects so your professionalism in all areas is important.
4. Must have ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
5. Must have own transportation.
6. Must own basic tools: hand tools, tool belt, etc.
7. Must own a working smart phone.
8. Must have a clean driving record.
9. Must have a valid social security number.
10. Must submit to a background check. Please do not apply unless you have a clean background (No Felonies).
