Westside Contractors, Inc (www.westside-contractors.com), a multi-family residential construction company seeks a Skilled Laborer/Carpenter to perform skilled labor and light carpentry work, as required by Project Superintendent.
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Superintendent
Performs clean-up work
Performs concrete patching, grinding, and chipping work
Performs light re-framing work
Performs drywall work
Performs paint touch up
Performs general labor tasks
Qualifications
TWO to FIVE years of experience in site support on residential new construction projects
Experience in multifamily residential construction preferred
Must have technical understanding of construction means and methods
Must be skilled in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Knowledge of carpentry, drywall, paint and other tasks related to repair work
Skills
Must be hard-working and reliable
Must be responsible, punctual, and able to work with little oversight
Must have good communication skills – bi-lingual a plus
Read and understand plans, a plus
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $22/hr - $26/hr
