Looking for an experienced wood worker familiar with most woodshop tools and equipment.
We use table saws, panel clamps, routers, router tables, planer, jointer, sanders, lots of hand tools.
If you have any finishing experience that is also a plus.
We build custom furniture for commercial and residential projects, so there is no standard products we build on a regular basis. All projects are typically pretty unique and sometimes challenging. We do a lot of solid wood, and some casegoods/sheets
Requirements:
- able to perform physically demanding tasks
- lifting, carrying heavy items
- standing, kneeling moving thought the work day
- experience within a woodshop, cabinetshop, wood working experience
- reliable transportation to and from the workshop, and sometimes to a jobsite.
- Part time or full time available for experienced woodworker or finisher
Additional preferred:
- valid drivers license with clean record to potentially drive delivery trucks to deliveries and installations
- photos of any work you have completed / worked on
Tasks include but not limited to:
- cutting
- gluing
- assembling
- drilling
- finishing
- sanding
- routing
- planing
- joining
- regularly cleaning and keeping the shop organized
- receiving
- loading
- regularly maintaining equipment and tools
