The incumbent conducts competency testing by collaborating with staff and management to determine competencies and the method most effective for assessing those competencies through skill demonstration written assessment or other modalities. In addition the incumbent serves as a resource for hospital clinical staff and leadership regarding the electronic health record system and other computer applications which includes translating clinical systems functionality into desired outcomes and evidence-based practice.QualificationsMinimum
Bachelors Degree
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in field
BLS ;REGISTERED NURSE (RN);ACLS
Computer experience working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record software
Preferred
Masters degree
Clinical education experience in an acute care hospital Experience using a learning management system (LMS)
Possess and maintain a current Instructor status in AHA programs (i.e. ACLS PALS NRP BLS). Certification in area of expertise
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
