Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Credentialing Specialist in the healthcare industry, located in Mission Hills, California. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing meetings within a hospital setting and handling matters related to medical staff credentialing. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage high-volume meetings within the hospital Accurately record and document meeting minutes Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology in daily tasks Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications of medical staff Ensure all credentials files are up to date and in compliance with regulatory standards Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed Use your skills in meeting minutes and meeting coordination to ensure smooth operation Leverage your understanding of physician credentialing in day-to-day responsibilities Provide onsite support from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional overtime for later meetings. Requirements Should possess strong knowledge of Medical Terminology. Experience in Physician Credentialing is a must. Proven ability in Meeting Minutes and Meeting Coordination. Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and practices. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in using healthcare software and databases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrable problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or a related field is preferred.
