Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Modesto, California for a Receptionist. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment. You will also be tasked with managing customer interactions, maintaining supplies, and assisting with administrative duties. Responsibilities: Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate individual or taking messages. Greeting and assisting all walk-in clients. Managing inventory of supplies and placing orders as needed. Maintaining orderliness of supplies. Keeping track of foreman boxes & confined space training binders, and updating the spreadsheet. Sorting through mail and distributing to the appropriate person. Preparing invoices received daily through email and preparing them for Accounts Payable. Preparing and mailing all requested documents. Utilizing FedEx account for mailing and shipping purposes. Laminating documents as requested. Restocking paper for all printers daily. Creating labels as requested. Assisting Accounts Payable clerk with bi-weekly check runs as needed. Performing miscellaneous copy & filing duties for Accounts Payable/Vehicle Files. Undertaking miscellaneous tasks assigned by the supervisor. Keeping your work area clean, organized, and tidy. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist role or similar position Proficient in receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, managing appointments, and organizing office space Experience with answering multi-line phone systems and managing inbound calls Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction Familiarity with business and email correspondence, with a strong focus on professionalism and proper etiquette Demonstrable skills in filing and organizing important documents Proficiency in English, both written and spoken Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and visitors High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Please contact Robert Half at 209.554.0521 for immediate consideration.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
