Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounting Manager based in Monterey, California, United States. This role is an integral part of our team, primarily responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The Accounting Manager will work closely with various departments, handling tasks such as full charge bookkeeping, accounts payable, and cash management.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements. Handle full charge bookkeeping tasks to ensure all financial data is up to date. Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. Oversee the management of company's fixed assets and depreciation. Lead the process of reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial records. Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up support. Use spreadsheets and word processing software to prepare reports and documents as needed. Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability. Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Requirements Proven experience in a similar role as Accounting Manager. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP). Demonstrable skills in Cash Management. Familiarity with Financial Statement Preparation. Experience with Fixed Asset Depreciation. Ability to perform Full Charge Bookkeeping. Proficiency in using QuickBooks software. Experience in performing Reconciliations. Proficiency in using Spreadsheets. Word Processing skills. Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to strategize and solve problems. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
