JOB DESCRIPTION

Dishwasher
1.1 Reporting Relationship
Executive Chef, Sous Chef
1.2 Position Summary
This position is responsible for all areas of dish cleaning and sanitation. Required to keep dish area safe and clean. Responsible for other duties as assigned by Sous and Executive Chefs.
1.3 Essential Functions
Wash and Sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, and pans.
Keep the dish area safe and clean.
Clean and sanitize Home Delivered Meal Program containers.
Upkeep and maintenance of dishwashing machine and equipment.
Assist on serving line, when needed.
Sweep and mop floor in dish washing area.
Clean and sanitize surfaces of equipment.
Assist with janitorial duties as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
1.4 Required Knowledge/Experience
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to communicate effectively with volunteers, clients, and staff.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
Good organizational skills
1.5 FLSA
1 Hourly – Non-Exempt / Full time 32-40 hours per week
0 Salaried – Exempt
21/hour Monday through Friday 6am-2pm
