Vivolo's Chowder House is currently seeking candidates interested in the host position. Weekends and holidays availability preferred. Excellent communications skills and a friendly customer service oriented attitude required. Must be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours a day, but most days will be 4.5 hour shifts. Must be able to lift 45 lbs. Shifts available are 11-4 for lunch and 4-9 for dinner.
Primary duties include:
Answering the phone
Greeting and seating guests
Using our host app to make and welcome reservations
Using our point sale computers to place take out orders (need to learn menu and how to use pos)
Being an excellent busser when time allows
This is a tipped position. The ideal candidate would be interested in advancing to the server position over time, but would still be required to host as needed until seniority is earned. Please do not apply if you are only interested in server shifts.
No experience required.
