Job description
We are currently looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills, and possess a friendly personality. Our dental practice is privately owned and well-established, and we emphasize excellent patient care. Our team is fun and friendly and fosters a happy and healthy work environment.
This full-time position requires working from Monday to Thursday, with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Taking dental x-rays
- Performing basic laboratory duties such as taking impressions and pouring models
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
- Providing patient education on post-operative care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have RDA license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- 5 years of experience
- Familiarity with dental terminology and patient assessment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
