We are currently seeking a part-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a strong team player, self-motivated, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a friendly personality.
This part-time position requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with the possibility of working some Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
- Taking dental X-rays
- Performing essential laboratory duties, such as taking impressions and pouring models
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
- Providing patient education on postoperative care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have an RDA license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Preferred: 3 years of experience
- Familiarity with dental terminology and patient assessment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
