Nepenthe Restaurant is looking for a full-time Maintenance Person.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in the maintenance of buildings, grounds and gardens, mechanical systems, lighting, kitchen equipment, electrical equipment, HVAC, fire protection systems, alarm systems, commercial/residential water storage; distribution and treatment, and waste water distribution and treatment.
Physical Requirements of the Maintenance position:
- May be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light to heavy weight material/appliances/ equipment), climbing ladders/stairs, and walking on rooftops.
- Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small-motorized equipment (i.e., repetitive hand/wrist, gripping and elbow motion).
- Requires lifting of up to 25-20lbs on a daily ongoing basis.
- May be required to lift up to 75-80lbs on an occasional basis.
- Must have normal range of hearing, vision, color discrimination and depth perception for proper operation of machines and equipment.
- Requires the use of appropriate safety equipment (e.g., back belts, goggles, masks, gloves, etc.).
-Requires the ability to drive a vehicle and possess a valid drivers license.
