Join the SPCA Benefit Shop team to turn merchandise sales into helping animals! The Benefit Shop Assistant works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to maintain a comfortable and goal-oriented environment focused on helping rescued animals through retail shop sales. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service skills to all donors and customers, sorting, cleaning, and pricing merchandise, maintaining engaging displays, packing and collecting donations from private and estate donors, and maintaining a clean and inviting shop environment. This career is fast-paced and dynamic with a strong sense of community and purpose. The ideal candidate has previous retail experience and strong technology skills, including cloud-based point of sales systems. The work Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 8:30am -5pm. Starting rate for this unique position is $18.50 – $20.00/hour DOE
