Watsonville Cadillac GMC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Car Salesman. As a Car Salesman, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth for our dealership. You will be responsible for understanding customers' automotive needs, showcasing our extensive inventory, and guiding them through the sales process to ensure their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing outstanding customer service and addressing their inquiries and concerns.

2. Assist customers in selecting the most suitable vehicle based on their preferences, budget, and lifestyle.

3. Conduct product presentations, demonstrating the features and benefits of various Cadillac, Buick, and GMC models to customers.

4. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including vehicle specifications, pricing, options, and financing plans, to effectively answer customer questions.

5. Conduct test drives to help customers experience the vehicles' performance and features firsthand.

6. Negotiate pricing, financing options, and trade-in values to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.

7. Collaborate with the sales team, finance department, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.

8. Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction after the vehicle purchase and address any post-sale inquiries or concerns.

9. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and objectives set by the dealership.

10. Continuously develop and improve sales skills through training programs and stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in automotive sales is preferred but not required. We are open to considering candidates with a passion for sales and excellent customer service skills.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and build rapport.

3. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work in a performance-driven environment.

4. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to guide customers through the sales process.

5. Familiarity with automotive technology and industry trends is an advantage.

6. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales progress.

7. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
