This position demands exceptional organization and professionalism. The foreman must possess extensive knowledge and experience in all building phases, from foundation to finish work, and must have at least 5 years of experience with superior carpentry skills and expertise in high-end finishes.
Key qualifications include:
Familiarity with construction standards and code requirements
Highly organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and a problem solver with strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate all trades, from demolition to interior finish carpentry
Own transportation with a valid CDL
Leadership skills and the ability to manage a crew
Personal working tools
Proficiency in reading and understanding plans and shop drawings
Capability to oversee a job from start to finish
Effective communication of job schedules
Balancing speed and accuracy appropriately
Maintaining daily logs and coordinating schedules with subcontractors
Monitoring personal and jobsite safety
