Job Overview
As an HVAC / Boiler Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients by maintaining & repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boilers and refrigeration systems. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions. You’ll work in diverse environments, showcasing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills while contributing to a team dedicated to excellence in service.
What you’ll do
-Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, boilers, and refrigeration units
-Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC/R issues using schematics and technical manuals
-Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
-Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and various tools & equipment for repairs
-Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address service requests efficiently
-Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job
-Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs
Basic qualifications:
-Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field.
-Prefer 5 - 10+ experience
-Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and field service
-Familiarity with boiler systems is a plus, may train a qualified candidate
Preferred qualifications:
-Experienced HVAC technician familiar with current best practices, codes & regulations
-EPA certifications required
-Background in construction or plumbing is advantageous.
-Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
-Ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, air conditioning & boiler experience
