Position: Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA) - ContractedLocal Pay Rate: $45 - $50 an hourSchedule: 20 - 40 hours a week - offering flexible schedulingFacility Type: Post AcuteLocation: Contra Costa County, CA 94556Responsibilities: Treat patients as directed by Physical TherapistRecord daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT BoardAssist in maintaining departmentParticipate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences, as neededAssist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment areaTreat patients per the physician treatment planAssist nursing department with training of Restorative AidesCommunicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problem and plansParticipate in in-services training program for other staff in the facilityRecord treatment changes per policy and proceduresInstruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy servicesReport any problems with department equipment so that it is maintained in good working orderRequirements:
Current certification or licensure as an Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
One (1) year of experience as an Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
