Reach Forklift Operator

Description:Responsible for building of orders and all product movement in the warehouse with specific attention to safety, quality and established performance standards. Other warehouse related duties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product orders to customers.

Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):

May load inbound and outbound product to and from vehicles and containers.

May unload inbound and outbound products and store according to system driven directives.

May build product orders on pallets by` hand picking cases using voice pick radio technology.

May unload and rebuild pallets of product by hand packing in palletization area.

May operate a stand-up forklift, sit down forklift or pallet jack to maintain safety, quality and production standards during assigned shift.

Read, decode, and decipher product coding in order to either build orders and/or expedite product movement.

Acknowledge damaged product and handle according to SOP’s.

Responsible for inventory accuracy and inspection of product held in the warehouse

Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of warehouse and to adhere to Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s) at all times.
