Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

Preferred qualifications:

7 years of experience in developer-related fields.

Experience with product management of developer focused tools or technology, including engineering user interfaces.

Familiarity with open source source code management tools, Google’s developer toolset and ecosystem.

Understanding of developer journeys and developer workflow requirements.

We are responsible for Chrome Browser, Chrome OS and Android's build, test, and release infrastructure, processes, and staff and assist other software projects and teams. We partner with product teams to build tools, and systems to enable engineering productivity and happiness, while ensuring the quality of the products. We enable the Android, Chrome Browser and OS teams to work outside of Google’s standard infrastructure with external contributors and partners and help empower a diverse ecosystem of collaboration both within Google and externally.Android is Google’s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Own the overall goal to improve developer velocity and productivity of Android engineers and Android ecosystem.

Manage Android developer focused products, tools and technology including engineering user interfaces.

Identify high-impact opportunities and define product goal, strategy and roadmap for developer products and tools.

Partner with Engineering, TPM, UX and other cross-functional teams to build, launch and land products, systems, tools and drive adoption to deliver end-user impact.

Collaborate with cross-product area partners across core, Chrome Browser, Chrome OS and Android.
