Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is currently seeking a Project Management professional to provide talent to our Advanced Weapons (AW) business in Northridge, CA. This position supports the Advanced Warfare Systems (AWS) Operating Unit's (OU's) Sustainment Program Management Office (PMO). This PMO leads sustainment activities related to the AARGM family of weapons systems and is responsible for ensuring that NGDS AW AWS is aligned and integrated across all elements of the organization to include Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Property Management, Support Equipment and Program Management. The Sustainment Project Management professional will support cross-functional teams focused on growing the business while meeting budget and schedule tracking contractual requirements.The Project Manager on the AARGM Sustainment team:

Manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between senior management and the project teams

Work closely with the functional leads to ensure Sustainment tracking of AARGM repairs and program resourcing and scheduling.

Coordinate and arrange government and international sustainment customer meetings (senior members of US DOD interactions)

Risk and Opportunity Management

Assist the International Program Manager with monitoring cost/schedule of programs teams.

Develop and maintain and Update project and status tracking schedules.

Continuously seeks improvement.

Support Strategy and Business Development teams

Coordinate with International Trade Compliance (ITC) to ensure export license and agreements are maintained to support international activities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience OR 7 years of experience in project management

Must be able to acquire a DoD Secret Clearance

Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Development

Proficient in the Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret Clearance or Higher

Familiarity with USG procurement process

Background in Navy or Airforce Aviation

Familiarity with the Northridge AARGM Team

Salary Range: $72,100 - $108,100The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
