Job Summary:Assists in identifying learner needs by using existing procedures, research, and data provided to understand learners and their challenges, with minimal guidance. Collects and organizes information used to understand business goals and success metrics. gathering data, metrics, and reporting used to design and implement training programs that meet learner needs and accreditation criteria. Develops, maintains, and coordinates schedules for training and train-the-trainer programs. Assists in the implementation of training related quality improvement programs. Documents changes to industry standards (e.g., accreditation criteria) by utilizing appropriate reference materials, internet sources, seminars, and publications. Makes contributions to content repositories with minimal guidance.Essential Responsibilities:

Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines; follows procedures and policies, and applies data and resources to support projects or initiatives with limited guidance and/or sponsorship. Supports the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Identifies and speaks up for ways to address improvement opportunities.

Assists in auditing and continuous improvement initiatives by: reviewing training content to check for accuracy, consistency, and delivery within prescribed protocols; assisting in the implementation of training related quality improvement programs; helping implement process improvement measures to ensure continued success of training programs; and reviewing and summarizing training content, organizational goals and initiatives, and accreditation criteria.

Helps track and provide information on laws, policies, and professional standards by: documenting directives of government agencies and legislation relevant to training subject matter; obtaining documentation of internal policies and best practices relevant to subject matter; and documenting changes to industry standards (e.g., accreditation criteria) by utilizing appropriate reference materials, internet sources, seminars, and publications.

Assists with documenting and informing others about training by: helping update training policies, procedures, and information in computer systems and hard copies with minimal guidance; tracking, document, and communicate training updates; summarizing training updates and training needs so they can be presented to senior staff; helping market learning programs and responding to inquiries about programs; and making contributions to content repositories with minimal guidance.

Assists in training design and implementation by: gathering data, metrics, and reporting used to design and implement training programs that meet learner needs and accreditation criteria; helping implement appropriate learning methods and technologies needed to deliver training programs; helping identify and obtain instructional resources to achieve desired program outcomes; and developing, maintaining, and coordinating schedules for training and train-the-trainer programs.

Assists in identifying learner needs by: using existing procedures, research, and data provided to understand learners and their challenges, with minimal guidance; helping conduct research and analysis to understand problems in a particular area or roles; helping administer surveys and focus groups to better understand learner needs; and providing input on learner needs to help create content that meets those needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Education, Communication, Business Management, Nursing, Psychology, or related field, OR Minimum three (3) years of experience in instructional design, adult education, or a directly related field.
