3PL client is looking for an IT Director in Oakland, CA! Director IT Salary - 00 plus bonus Position: The Director of IT reports directly to the VP of IT. The Director of IT's role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. The Director IT will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The Director IT will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. The Director IT will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Background Required
Information Technology Senior Leadership (10 years)
WMS, TMS, TMW, WMOS experience
Sage Intacct
Warehousing and Distribution experience
Implemented WMS and TMS systems
EDI and Middleware experience
Experience with operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
Experience manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems
Must have solid experience working with Microsoft application suite, VOIP, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and Office Automation equipment
Education: BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or similar
Residence: California - onsite
Travel up to 50% as needed
