Description We are in search of a Project Assistant to join us in Oakland, California. In this role, you will be providing crucial administrative support to the project management team. This position offers a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity and is an excellent fit for someone with strong administrative skills.Responsibilities: Assist the project management team with administrative tasks Handle project-related queries and issues Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records Ensure smooth communication within the project team Monitor project progress and report any discrepancies Support in project planning and scheduling Facilitate meetings and document the minutes Coordinate with various departments for project requirements Maintain a well-organized system for project documentation Handle any other administrative tasks as assigned by the project manager. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Administrative Office skills is essential. Must possess a high level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary. Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable. Proficiency in using project management software is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is necessary. Must have a proactive approach to work, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions. Familiarity with the principles of project management is beneficial. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is required. Must possess strong customer service skills.
