Reporting to the Director, Galileo X Partnerships, the Sales Development & Outreach Associate, Galileo X, will be a key contributor to the growth and impact of Galileo’s expanding partnership programs. In this role, you will generate leads, identify aligned school districts, charter school networks, and education providers, and build a robust pipeline of potential new camp locations and collaborators.This is an exciting opportunity in education-focused sales, outreach, and business development. This estimate is based on the preferred location in California. Galileo Headquarters is located at 111 Myrtle St, Ste 300, Oakland, CA 94607. Remote, work-from-home, location is possible in the following states: California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas, North Carolina, New York, or Washington. We are currently only able to employ candidates who are based in the states listed here.Schedule & Time CommitmentThis is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week. While we prioritize work-life balance, there may be times when additional hours are necessary to meet deadlines and ensure the success of our programs. Additionally, HQ staff are expected to visit camp locations from June through August to experience camp first-hand and support our teams on the ground; 10-15% travel may be required for those located outside of a camp territory.
