Reporting directly to the VP of Data & Analytics (D&A), the Senior Director, Digital, Customer Experience, and Operations Analytics is responsible for partnering with several key executives across the company to be the Data & Analytics partner to several critical and interrelated areas of the business: digital / web analytics for members, providers, brokers, employers; NPS/other survey analytics; claims & appeals operations analytics; contact center analytics; product analytics; and marketing analytics. This critical analytics team understands, collaborates with other analytical portfolio teams, and delivers analytical insights to power the business forward. This role requires not only analytical prowess but also a broad understanding of the business and business levers that matter. Being able to act as "two-in-a-box" with multiple VP+ business stakeholders is critical - setting direction, managing against multiple competing deadlines, and driving change management. This Senior Director must be adept at "translating" the business problem into an analytical approach, driving the team of analytics professionals, and bringing in other specialties from within the D&A team, such as data engineering, visualization, predictive modeling, and data governance as appropriate. The Senior Director, leads multiple teams of analysts, has an in-depth understanding of how information is consumed, and how analytics support these key business functions in the organization. This role is a change agent, mentor, and talent magnet.

Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform analytic strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
Support all regulatory requirements in terms of reports or data
Partner with data solutions/engineering team to create re-usable single-source-of-truth data assets that can accelerate analytics & insights

QUALIFICATIONS
Your Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree; advanced degree in quantitative discipline preferred
15+ years of experience with a key focus on driving business outcomes through data & analytics + supervising analytical teams
Exceptionally clear communicator and influencer with the ability to communicate findings in business terminology, not technical approaches
Strategic but yet able to be hands-on if needed, with familiarity with SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, etc.
Deep experience in translating business problems to analytical approaches, driving solutions, partnering to implement change, and measuring outcomes
Has grit; energized by challenges

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: 202400.00 to 303600.00 for California.
